OPERATION HOOKS AND LINES

In the past years, we have been able to give food, clothing items, shoes etc. and sponsored village outreach crusade in some parts of Nigeria. In 2015, God gave us a better understanding of the popular saying: “Give a man a fish and he eats for a day, teach a man to fish and he can feed himself for life.” God helped us to understand that this outreach ministry needs to go beyond giving out fish (food, clothes, shoes etc.) and teaching people to fish (career training, tuition aid) to actually supplying them with the hooks and lines needed to fish.

There are people who have been trained to fish by learning fashion designing, hairdressing, carpentry, barbing, farming etc. but they do not have the tools to put their skills into practice. There are trained tailors without sewing machines; there are barbers without clippers; there are hairdressers without hair dryers; there are carpenters without wood and hammers; and there are farmers without cutlasses and hoes. In the light of this, our mission  moving forward is to empower such people to use their learned skills by providing them with the needed tools and resources (hooks and lines).

We might not be able to help the whole world but we can definitely start with one person at a time. Please consider giving towards this mission tagged "Operation Hooks and Lines". We are tired of giving out fish; it is not enough to teach people how to fish; but it is more beneficial to provide them with the hooks and lines needed to fish. That is what God is calling us to do in many villages around the world. There is no donation that is too little. A man of God once said: "A drop of water in the shell of a snail is an ocean to an ant." What you think is small might be all that is needed to empower a whole family somewhere in Africa. You can make a secured donation with any credit/debit card on our website and you will be directed to a secure payment webpage that is operated by PayPal. You can also make your checks payable to: Hope of Glory International Ministries Inc. and mail to 401 E. 38th Street, Paterson, NJ 07504.

All donations are 100% Tax Deductible.

We shall be looking forward to hearing from you. God bless you.
